Formula 1 Shake Mix

For Energy and Health Benefits:

Two Herbalife Scoops of Formula 1 Shake Mix, once per day mixed with fruit juice, fruit smoothie, yoghurt or drinking yoghurt, in place of one minor meal. Most popular juices for this are peach, pear, mango or mixed fruit. Avoid low fat yoghurt as it contains sugar, rather go for regular yoghurt.

For a really smooth shake, try Herbalife’s new product “Protein Drink Mix (PDM); two Scoops mixed with your choice of Formula 1 Shake, mixed with water, and maybe an ice block or two, will produce a delicious drink and save you the problem of deciding which juice to use.

It is inadvisable to mix the formula with milk if you are lactose intolerant. Eat your other two meals as usual.

If you are gluten, soy or lactose intolerant – please use Formula 1 Shake mix called “Free From”, which is free of all three.

To Lose Weight and Centimetres: 

As above; but replace 2 minor meals each day. Eat your main meal of choice, as usual, but be aware of your food choices for this third meal, and try to cut back the quantity a bit.

TIP: drink a glass of water before starting your main meal of choice as this can assist you to eat less.

Continue to or begin to exercise – gradually increasing the amount as you become fitter. It is advisable to consult a doctor before beginning a new exercise regime. It is our muscles which burn calories and keep us mobile, so it is vitally important to maintain them. When they are in good shape they keep us looking in good shape.

To Gain Weight and Centimetres:

Eat your three meals per day as usual. Try to add up to three helpings of Formula 1 Shake Mix per day, mixed as above.

TIP: have your Herbalife after your regular meal as it can be very filling and remember the water…

Water:

Adequate hydration is essential to your well-being. Try to drink 6 – 8 glasses of water daily. This is of particular importance when on any weight control regimen as toxins released, need to be regularly flushed from your system. Your system will naturally flush out these toxins and will use your body’s extra water (which is stored in the bowel).  If this is not replaced, constipation can ensue. The importance of drinking these 6 – 8 glasses of water daily; cannot be emphasised enough.

TIPS:

  • Drink a glass of water before putting anything else in your mouth. The first glass when you get up in the morning and then evenly throughout the day before each snack or meal.
  • Enhance the flavour of your water and add extra nutrition with Herbal Aloe Juice (which you can drink freely)
